Novas Consulting is an upstream consultancy that delivers a range of integrated technical and commercial services to clients in the Energy Industry. I founded the company in 2005, having spent the previous 20 or so years in a variety of upstream roles in BP, latterly Exploration Manager for Brazil. Novas provides expertise from frontier exploration ventures to mature field production projects, onshore and offshore, conventional and unconventional. We offer a flexible and responsive service, underpinned by exemplary technical standards, which enables clients to make timely and effective corporate decisions. On the unconventional side, we've been involved in Shale Play Evaluation since 2007 and have a level of knowledge seldom seen outside the US.
