Talk Description
The onshore and offshore environments in the Middle East provide an ideal stage for satellite remote sensing for oil exploration. This presentation will explore some of the techniques which can be employed in the region for accurate geological mapping and hydrocarbon seepage detention with examples from the Zagros, Red Sea, Eastern Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf
Michael joined NPA Satellite Mapping as a Remote Sensing Geologist in 2004, before previously working briefly in the gold exploration business. He has a degree in Geology and a masters in Remote sensing and has been in the role as Oil and Gas manager at NPA since 2016.
