Solution Seeker is a spin-off company from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (www.ntnu.no) with the objective to increase daily production with 2-4 %-point. ProductionCompass - potential to increase production by 2-4 %: Solution Seeker presents a novel way of improving short-term (daily) production optimization, by utilizing data-mining techniques on production data and solving a simplified, smarter optimization problem - giving the expert personnel a real time decision support. The innovation lies in better utilization of historical and real-time production data. A brief overview of the methods behind is given in the enclosed 'ProductionCompass'.
