Richard Luff

Richard Luff has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, and currently serves as Senior Vice President for the Europe and Africa Region.

Richard ‘s extensive industry experience covers everything from management of major subsea projects for deepwater and marginal fields, to field layout, engineering, construction and delivery expertise for subsea production systems related to fixed and floating systems. He has worked on projects and in management roles around the world, and has spent time living in Norway, the United States and Brazil. Richard’s most recent experience includes the development of new technology for a seabed fiber optic oil and gas reservoir monitoring system.

Luff is a Chartered Civil Engineer and maintains a keen interest in new technologies for offshore production through active participation in the Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) of which he is both a Fellow and current Treasurer.
