Transforming Offshore Operations with Data
Business opportunities from increasing production or reducing costs of operation

Thursday, December 3, 2015, Stavanger, Norwegian Petroleum Museum
Download our conference report
We looked at how we can transform offshore operations by working out how to improve / optimise production, how to improve operations and maintenance effectiveness, how to better manage documents and information, and how to make all engineering information and operational data much more easily available with the latest touch screen technology and computing.
We can increase production by making adjustments to our production set-up, perhaps using mathematical processing to work out the best way to do it, as well as avoiding shutdowns and bottlenecks.
We can reduce costs by better targetting our maintenance expenditure - through having a better understanding of asset condition.
Driving both of these is our understanding of the asset and plant itself - the better we understand it, the better we can operate it, and the more efficiently we can work.
This event continued from the Digital Energy Journal conference in Stavanger in December 2014, "People and Offshore Engineering Data". See the agenda see the list of attendees
