Chris has over 35 years of Information Technology, eCommerce and Consulting experience and has been a key player in Oil & Gas eCommerce since 1995.
Chris has managed numerous global projects for operators, services companies and eCommerce networks across the globe.
He was a founding member of ACT Global Consulting Ltd and has been providing strategic advice and technology architecture solutions to the Oil & Gas industry since 2000.
In March 2015, Chris became CEO and Chairman of the Board of OFS Portal LLC, a global member-based group of upstream oil and gas suppliers and service providers at the forefront of oilfield eCommerce. Chris is also Chair of the PIDX International Standards group and sits on the board of ConnectONCE.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Computing for Commerce and Industry and he is a keen rock climber and races a Ducati super-bike in his spare time

As we work toward net-zero carbon/GHG emissions by 2050, it is vital to capture, analyze, optimize and sometimes share this information. I'm working with global standards orgs on the mechanisms, and with IDS and clients to develop web-based, blockchain solutions for reporting scope 1, 2, 3, etc., emissions, and the tools for reducing these emissions.
Operational data still remains largely unused. Along with it are the opportunities to automatically capture, analyze, visualize and glean insight from the data. I help people capture the right operational data, store them so they are always securely available, analyzable, and visible on web-enabled devices. Analysis and visualization of appropriate data reveals actionable insight, that when acted upon, can lead to significant competitive improvements in safety, performance, productivity and cost reduction.
