- Software today is mostly geared towards developing quick and cost efficient solutions
- Less attention is given to teaching computers about the world they will be operating in
- But for software to be useful to expert workers - such as geologists, drilling engineers, production engineers, facilities engineers - the software needs to understand the world they work in
