Promoting carbon utilisation and storage to store carbon and extend the life of the North Sea

Carbon capture for purely environmental reasons isn't taking off - how about looking at carbon capture for increasing the life of North Sea oil fields (enhanced oil recovery)? You achieve the same environmental objective (carbon storage), produce oil which people would have consumed anyway, and create jobs, business, taxation revenue and reduced imports for the country?
