Our first Finding Petroleum Conference - on 20/21 January - focussed on Exploration and Technology,
and how they combine to make companies successful, successful at their chosen Business. In planning the
two days, we considered four threads:
1. Which companies are being successful, especially in Exploration?
2. Where are they being successful; or where might they be successful in the future?
3. What does this say about Technology; which technologies are being 'pulled on' by successful explorers?
4. Where are the technology companies that will enjoy future success?
That's the programme we put together, badgering lots of folk to give a presentation, calling in one or
two favours, and we thank all the presenters for stepping up to the plate.
With only two or three exceptions, presenters were also willing to allow us to offer downloads of their
presentations and we thank them for that too.
