Wood Group launches asset integrity management software

Friday, February 03, 2012 in Software

Energy services company Wood Group has launched an asset integrity management software tool called "Nexus Integrity Center" (NEXUS IC).

The company has been developing and testing the software for 2 years.

It replaces the previous version of Wood Group Integrity Management's software called "Asset Integrity Manager".

The new software is designed to take information from a range of different corporate information systems. It has improved visualisation and alerting, the company says.

It has special 'expert' systems to manage integrity of piping, pressure vessels and tanks in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards.

You can use the software to view pipeline inspection data and videos. You canalso view 3D computer aided design (CAD) drawings.

"WGIM has a long-standing reputation for technical innovation and excellence in providing hands-on software for the energy sector," says Mark Linton, Managing Director, Wood Group Integrity Management.
