View 3D pdfs in PowerPoint slides

Friday, June 29, 2012

UK company PDF3D has developed a plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint, which enables 3D pdfs to be viewed as part of PowerPoint presentations.

The company believes that the 3D pdfs could be particularly useful for geologists, and other fields working with 3D images such as aerospace and architecture.

This means that if you are giving a presentation including 3D pdfs, you do not need to interrupt the presentation to launch Adobe reader software in order to read them.

The plugin is available free of charge on the pdf3d website.
