Thursday, March 15, 2012
Seismic survey company Spectrum reports that it has started a broadband 2D multi-client funded seismic survey in offshore West Timor, Indonesia.
The survey is being made in partnership with CGGVeritas and GeoData Ventures.
It uses the CGGVeritas BroadSeis Technology.
The survey will cover 3,340 km over the Timor trough.
CGGVeritas will provide acquisition and processing services.
The survey is situated within an underexplored region with a complex geology, Spectrum says.
The data will be processed using pre-stack depth migration.
Final deliverables are expected to be available in November 2012.
