LOTOS Group implements Polycom video collaboration

Wednesday, April 25, 2012

LOTOS Group, a vertically integrated oil company based in Gdansk, Poland, has implemented Polycom's video collaboration tool across the company.

It will use Polycom's "RealPresence" video collaboration solution together with Microsoft's "Lync"

LOTOS Capital Group Speeds Decision Making for its 5,000 Dispersed Employees with Polycom® RealPresence Video Collaboration Solution and Microsoft Lync communications server.

Every company employee will have Lync on their desktop PCs. They can see which other employees are present at their desks, and send them instant messages, or join video conferences.

'Our decision to work with Polycom on this project was determined by the ease of integration and scalability of its products," says Lukasz Nowakowski, IT Coordinator, LOTOS.

"We wanted to add the videoconferencing services without impacting our existing network'.

The system was implemented by NextiraOne, a Polycom certified partner.
