KADME expands to Central / South America

Friday, July 01, 2011 in Software

KADME, a Stavanger company which makes oil and gas information management software, has signed a reseller agreement with IPM, a project management company based in Colombia.

IPM will sell Kadme's "WhereOil Enterprise" search engine tool in South and Central America.

Oil companies can use WhereOil to make it easier for their employees to find the data they are looking for in the oil companies' archives. It can search both structured and unstructured data.

WhereOil has been used by the National (oil and gas) Data Repository of Colombia EPIS since 2009, to make it easier for people to find what they are looking for in EPIS' archives.

"Most oil companies in Colombia are already using Whereoil to search and order data with the National Data Repository, EPIS," says KADME’s Director of Business Development, Gianluca Monachese.

“I am very optimistic about the potential of Whereoil in Latin America. By introducing Whereoil into their organizations, they will greatly improve the efficiency of their people in gaining access to all available information".
