GlobaLogix CEO named Ernst & Young entrepreneur of the year

GlobaLogix CEO James Hamilton received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 Award in the oil services category in Houston & Gulf Coast Area.

Under Hamilton’s leadership, GlobaLogix has experienced dramatic growth since it was founded in 2004. The company was recognized as the fastest growing technology company in Houston in 2008 after achieving a more than 1300 percent increase in one year in sales revenues, and has continued extremely fast-paced growth in 2008 and 2009. Moreover, the company has grown from three, to more than 100 employees, and now has offices throughout the United States in Houston; Carthage, Texas; Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and Denver, Colorado.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards celebrate their 24th anniversary this year. The program honors entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptionality in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

As a Houston & Gulf Coast Area award winner, Hamilton is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 13, 2010.
