Cambridge Carbon Capture

Start-up and potential University of Cambridge spin-out venture Cambridge Carbon Capture, is developing unique and scalable CO2-mineralisation technology. This technology will enable the power, mining, waste and chemicals industries to cheaply convert fossil fuels to carbon-free electricity and sequester carbon dioxide safely, permanently and as a solid product. Founder, Michael Priestnall, formerly 'Carbon Trust Innovator of the Year' says 'what's really exciting about our process is that by turning costly wastes into valuable minerals, metals and chemicals, we have created the business case for industry to adopt CCS in a global market worth around a trillion dollars each year.
