Rob Habiger
Spectraseis today announced the appointment of Dr. Robert Habiger as Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. Dr. Habiger holds a PhD in physics and has more than 28 years of technology research and operating experience in the oil and gas industry. He was most recently the head of seismic technology development at ConocoPhillips in Houston, where he led a team of scientists developing proprietary seismic processing technology for use in the group’s worldwide exploration and production activities. Dr. Habiger’s previous roles have included management positions within CoP’s international exploration business unit as well as in petrophysics and seismic technology R&D. Before joining Phillips Petroleum in 1978 Dr. Habiger was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force.
